Overview:

We are seeking an Experienced Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in complex diagnostics and repairs on Ag and compact construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

• -Participates in required Service Training programs.
• Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns with supervisor or management, documents in detail all performed repairs on work orders.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of Special tools and Shop equipment.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
• Management reserves the right to assign other duties or projects as necessary.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience performing service repairs (John Deere Background Preferred).
• Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using Special tools and Shop equipment following Technical Manual procedures, JD Service Advisor and basic computer applications.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used to repair AG and compact construction equipment.
• Sets an example in personal character, commitment, organization and operational skills, work habits, and the company’s Safety Program.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CA driver’s license is required.
• Promotes a professional appearance and demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate professionally with customers, company employees, and company managers.
