Job Title: Outside Parts Sales Representative

Reports to: Parts Manager

This position is responsible to build customer relationships by traveling to customer locations, addressing concerns, and providing parts solutions
● Provides an excellent customer experience
● Markets parts for the extensive line of products that Kern Machinery offers
● Performs follow-up calls at customer locations
● Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily
● Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer experience
● Participates in product presentations and meetings held outside the dealership
● Provides limited technical support where applicable; acts as an advisor to help solve customer parts concerns
● Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
● Assists in other areas to keep the dealership clean and orderly
● 2+ years’ experience in an agricultural or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, training, or other sales related work
● Experience creating positive customer relationships
● Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
● Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling process
● Ability to work in fast-paced environment
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
● Experience working both independently and in a team setting
● Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
● High School Diploma or GED equivalent
● Ability to work extended hours and weekends
● Clean driving record
